We stayed at The Reverie Saigon for the night of 27 April 2018 on our way to Nha Trang and the beautiful Vinpearl Golfland Resort and Villas. We chose this hotel due to its number 1 rating on TripAdvisor. The hotel is lovely and in a good central location in Ho Chi Minh City. It is in the ideal spot if you plan to undertake day tours that run from the Saigon Opera House close by. The hotel is colorfully decorated with marble and other colors throughout the expansive interior areas.
The room was comfortable with a great view over the river that runs through Ho Chi Minh City. We took the opportunity to take some great photos and videos around the hotel. In the evening we enjoyed dinner at the pool, with a reasonable selection of drinks and foods from the a-la-carte menu.
I did find certain staff a little ‘stuffy’, especially when we were wandering around the hotel taking photos and videos, dressed very casually as we tend to do. It was almost as if they were like ‘what are you doing here, do you really belong here?’.
All in all the hotel is wonderful for your stay in Ho Chi Minh City and I would certainly consider the hotel again should I find myself back in the city. If you are driving yourself then find The Reverie Saigon on Google Maps.
