Welcome to Two Passports Packed, the travel blog that will take you on interesting adventures, show you the most amazing sites, let you stay at the best hotels in the world, let you eat at splendid restaurants and inspire your travels to unique destinations.
So why are we called ‘Two Passports Packed’? My guess is that if you are traveling on interesting adventures and visiting luxurious destinations then you are most likely not traveling alone. So please make sure that someone packs two passports otherwise you will not be able to enjoy each other’s company. Or perhaps it’s because I am fortunate to hold both a South African and a British passport. Or maybe even it’s because ‘2’ is my lucky number. However, if the truth be told, the domain name ‘Passport Packed’ was quoted for nearly USD 30,000 and I was not willing to pay so much for a domain name. So, from a combination of all these factors, ‘Two Passports Packed’ it is.
You will notice across this website, particularly in the photo’s, a small stuffed camel. Since 2005, I have traveled with Jamal, a camel that I purchased in Dubai before a vacation to Phuket in Thailand. Jamal has been a loyal travel companion and he likes to be in the photo’s. His website is no longer updated but his Instagram page here is updated whenever he has a new adventure to share with his friends.
